For over a century, the Red Cross has been a community leader in emergency preparedness and response. Our Heroes Breakfasts honor that longstanding tradition of heroism by recognizing local individuals whose extraordinary acts of courage or kindness make them a hero.

* Here's what your gift can accomplish:

  • $1000 provides secure shelter and food for 60 disaster victims
  • $750 buys one week of clothing, food and shelter for a family of four
  • $500 buys 80 new blankets to provide comfort and warmth
  • $250 prepared 50 youth in basic aid training
  • $150 provides four individuals with lifesaving CPR or First Aid skills
